My Day Trip To Lynchburg/Snow-Flex!!

This past Monday, I decided to take a day trip to beautiful Lynchburg, VA to visit my roommate for the year, Amanda. While I was there, we moved stuff into the dorm, watched movies, and ran around the campus :o) Liberty just built a Snow-Flex course which, I believe, is one of the firsts in the country.. Don't quote me on that though. haha.. Anyways, this thing is the weirdest thing I have ever seen. The "snow is actually artificial turf .. which would sound like it would hurt.. but nobody showed signs of injury. My trip to the zoo :o)

This past Saturday my daddy and I went to the Norfolk Zoo! It was oober hot but the displays were really neat. They had bubbles you could go into to see the prairie dogs up close. They had monkeys, giraffes, elephants, lions, barnyard animals, and a bunch of other animals! Unfortunately the tiger display wasn't finished.. so I didn't get to see my favorite. But it was still a very fun day. After that, we went to the McArthur Center Mall to do a little shopping and ate a really nifty '50s diner called Johnny Rockets where they serve ketchup in a little bowl in the form of a smiley face. All in all a very fun day :o)
